Spermatogenesis is a complicated process influenced and controlled by different and various factors. We collected male specimens of the rough-tailed geckos Cyrtopodion scabrum in three altitudes (during biological activity), that are different in climate conditions. The testes were removed and surveyed by histological H & E technique. Our results show three different phases of the spermatogenesis (Active, Transitional and Silent) during biological activity. In three studied altitudes the phases timing of spermatogenesis are different: the spermatogenesis in the low elevation population started earlier than in the population occupied higher habitats.
